Kathy Woodson is a Training Specialist with over 18 years combined experience in Business and Education. She holds a BA in Business and Economics, and has experience both in developing curriculum and training adults.

Tara Smith
Tara Smith has several years of experience in education along with human services. She holds a B.A. in Sociology. Alongside Tara's duties as Training Specialist, she has taught Adult Literacy Classes in Sumter County and currently serves Region 2 by responding to our state's adult education information needs in addition to facilitating our state's professional development activities for adult education directors and their staff members.

Arly Slepski
Arly Slepski is a Training Specialist with over seven years combined experience in business and education. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration, and has experience in developing and delivering training to teachers and students, and forming relationships with the business community to address the needs of our future workforce.

Region IV
LaVonne Rutten
LaVonne moved to South Carolina from Kentucky and now makes her home in Florence. The majority of her career to date has been in Human Resources, though she did teach for a few years at a magnet school in the early 90's. Upon moving to South Carolina, she took a job as an elementary school teacher in the Public School System. LaVonne says "I've always been career minded, and look forward to this new opportunity with Poynor."
