South Carolina Association of Adult Education Directors (SCAAED)
SCAAED is a professional association for active and retired adult education directors in South Carolina, and is a member organization of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA).
The association works to provide quality professional development activities to its members and co-sponsors a summer training institute with the South Carolina Association of Adult and Continuing Education and the State Department of Education’s Office of Adult and Community Education.
Its main function is to advocate for adult education at the local, state, and national levels. It has a lobbyist on retainer to assist with legal/legislative issues regarding adult education in South Carolina.
